WHAT'S NEW

May 2026 - Version 1.0.1 is now live! It contains several key stability and performance enhancements:

  1. Improved File Handling: Opening a file (for read) that does not exist now produces a clear, student-friendly error message, helping learners debug their code independently.
  2. Reliable "Fast Run" Execution: The CTRL-Enter shortcut now performs a pre-run check to ensure the Python worker is fully initialized, preventing execution hangs during rapid testing.
  3. Raspberry Pi Optimization: We have implemented a full graphical update using WebGL, significantly increasing the frame rate for smoother Turtle graphics and animations.

April 2026 - Version 1.0.0 is officially live! It has been an incredible launch, with students already running over 39,000 Python programs on the platform.
